Switzerland's largest institutional blockchain, AI and digital assets conference, drawing 3,000+ leaders, investors, founders and policymakers to Kongresshaus Zurich across four stages on 29–30 September 2026, the annual centrepiece of Crypto Valley's calendar.
CV Summit is Switzerland's leading annual conference on blockchain, AI, and digital assets, produced by CV Labs (the entity combining CV VC and CV Labs). The name "CV" stands for Crypto Valley, the cluster of blockchain companies and infrastructure concentrated in the Zug/Zurich corridor. Despite the initials, this is not a professional CV or resume event.
The 2026 edition features 250 speakers across four concurrent stages, 1,000 m² of exhibition space, and a mix of conference content, investor programming and networking sessions. The summit is positioned explicitly as an institutional event: it draws executives from global financial institutions, institutional investors, digital asset fund managers and policymakers alongside Web3 builders and blockchain developers. Franklin Templeton is the 2026 presenting partner.
CV Summit 2026 runs on 29 and 30 September at Kongresshaus Zurich. According to the organiser, 3,000+ physical attendees are expected, with 250 speakers and four stages of content running simultaneously. Exhibition space is described as 1,000 m² or more.
Confirmed 2026 partners include Franklin Templeton (presenting), Ripple, Microsoft, Animoca Brands, Google Cloud, Binance, UBS, Citibank, Fireblocks, BitGo, Sygnum, Galaxy, Bitwise and others. The full partner list is published on the website.
Allocator tickets (for investors, family offices and funds) are available free of charge on application via a Typeform process. Speaker applications for 2026 were open as of the website's last update.
CV Summit occupies a distinct position at the end of September, after TOKEN2049 Singapore and ahead of the main Q4 conference wave. It is the primary Swiss-based institutional digital assets event and serves as the annual gathering for the Crypto Valley ecosystem. Unlike consumer-facing crypto events, CV Summit positions itself around institutional adoption, asset management and regulatory engagement.
Its direct European comparables are Paris Blockchain Week (April) and WebSummit (Lisbon, November), though CV Summit is narrower in scope and more explicitly focused on the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets.
According to the organiser, the attendee mix includes:
Past attendee organisation logos displayed on the website include BlackRock, UBS, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, PwC, Google, Roche and others. These are illustrative attendee-origin indicators, not confirmed delegations.
The 2026 programme spans four declared tracks:
Blockchain: decentralised technology trends, crypto infrastructure, protocol development, founders and industry leaders
Investments & Wealth3: institutional investors, digital era wealth management, exclusive insights from asset managers
Artificial Intelligence: AI developments intersecting with financial services and digital assets, connections with global AI leaders
Institutions & Digital Assets: leading banks and institutions pioneering the digital asset space, tokenisation of real-world assets, regulatory frameworks
Cross-cutting themes based on the partner roster and speaker profiles include Swiss DLT Act implementation, EU MiCA regulation, stablecoin infrastructure, DeFi market structure and AI applications in portfolio management.
CV stands for Crypto Valley, the informal name for the blockchain and digital asset cluster centred on the canton of Zug in Switzerland. Switzerland enacted the Federal Act on the Adaptation of Federal Law to Developments in Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT Act) in 2021, creating one of the clearest legal frameworks for digital assets in Europe. FINMA (the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority) has also provided guidance on token classification. These structural factors shape the regulatory and institutional discussions at CV Summit in ways that distinguish it from events in less defined jurisdictions.
According to the organiser, attendees who qualify as "allocators" (investors, family offices, funds) can receive a complimentary ticket by applying via a Typeform form linked from cvsummit.ch. Eligibility is assessed by the organiser; approval is not automatic.

CV Summit is the gravitational centre of Crypto Valley's institutional layer: the convergence of Swiss private banks, global asset managers and blockchain builders in one room is a combination most European crypto events cannot replicate.
