Five days in Brussels co-organised by Hydrogen Europe, the European Commission and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, combining a high-level policy conference, a business forum and an innovation programme with an exhibition.
European Hydrogen Week is the annual gathering of the European hydrogen sector, held in Brussels and co-organised by the industry association Hydrogen Europe, the European Commission and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, the public-private partnership that funds hydrogen research and deployment. The 2026 edition runs from 26 to 30 October. It combines an exhibition of more than 220 companies, regions and national programmes with a conference expecting more than 9,000 attendees and over 200 speakers across three stages: a high-level policy conference, a business-to-business forum and an innovation forum.
This is where the European hydrogen sector meets its regulator and its funder in the same week. The policy stage covers the regulatory questions that determine whether projects are financeable: the definition of renewable hydrogen, delegated acts, state aid, the hydrogen bank auctions, import corridors and infrastructure planning. The innovation forum covers the Clean Hydrogen Partnership's calls and funded project results. The business forum handles commercial matchmaking. National and regional pavilions use the exhibition to position their hydrogen valleys.
European Hydrogen Week and Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe sit within a fortnight of each other in autumn 2026 and cover different halves of the same sector. Hamburg, from 20 to 22 October, is the equipment supply chain: components, engineering, procurement. Brussels, from 26 to 30 October, is policy, funding and project development. Teams working on hydrogen projects in Europe commonly attend both, for reasons that barely overlap.

There is an exhibition of more than 220 exhibitors, but it functions as a showcase for companies, regions and funded programmes rather than as a procurement floor.
Hydrogen Europe represents the sector's companies and national associations. The Clean Hydrogen Partnership is the European public-private partnership funding hydrogen research, development and deployment. Their joint programming with the Commission is what gives the week its convening power.
The week where European hydrogen policy, funding calls and industrial reality are argued out in the same rooms, with the Commission co-hosting rather than visiting.
Registration runs through the official European Hydrogen Week website. Past editions have combined free access to parts of the exhibition and public sessions with paid delegate passes for the conference programme, and reduced rates for Hydrogen Europe members and public bodies. Exhibition and pavilion space is quoted by the organiser.
