## Quick Facts

| DATES | VENUE | ORGANISER | ATTENDANCE |
|---|---|---|---|
| 9–11 March 2027 | Lille Grand Palais | Forward Global | 24,558 registered for the 2026 edition |

## Definition

The InCyber Forum Europe, founded in 2007 as the Forum International de la Cybersecurite and still widely called the FIC, is the largest European gathering devoted to cybersecurity and digital trust. It is organised by Forward Global, a risk management company, and held at Lille Grand Palais under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic. The 2026 edition, from 31 March to 2 April, registered 24,558 attendees and companies. The 2027 edition moves earlier in the calendar, to 9 to 11 March, under the theme "Agentic vertigo", framed around securing autonomous systems and the prospect of autonomous cybersecurity.

## What the InCyber Forum is for

The forum's distinguishing feature is who is in the building. European Commission and agency staff, national cyber authorities, gendarmerie and police cybercrime units, defence, large industrial buyers, integrators and vendors attend the same three days. That mix makes it the natural venue for European regulatory questions, NIS2 implementation, the Cyber Resilience Act, digital identity, and cross-border law enforcement cooperation. Commercial exhibition happens, but the policy and institutional conversation is what the event sells.

## Who attends the InCyber Forum

- European institutions and national cybersecurity agencies
- Law enforcement cybercrime units and judicial authorities
- CISOs and risk officers from European large accounts and industry
- Security vendors, integrators and consultancies
- Researchers, students and the competitive security community through the European Cyber Cup

## The eight parallel conferences

The forum hosts specialised events inside the main programme, which is the most efficient way to read what it covers:

- Cybersecurity for Industry, on operational technology and industrial control systems
- European Cyber Cup, the competitive hacking tournament
- CORIIN, on incident response and digital forensics
- ID Forum, on digital identity
- Market Briefings, on the security market and investment
- OSINT Day, on open-source intelligence
- Secure AI, on securing machine learning systems
- Trust & Safety Forum, on online harms and platform governance

## How it compares with the other French events

France has three security gatherings that do different jobs. Les Assises in Monaco is closed and built on booked one-to-one meetings. Cloud & Cyber Security Expo in Paris is a free commercial floor. The InCyber Forum is the institutional one, and the only one of the three that consistently pulls a European rather than a French audience.

## FAQ · Identity and audience

### Is the forum called FIC or InCyber?

Both. The event was founded as the Forum International de la Cybersecurite and rebranded to InCyber, but a large part of the French market still says FIC. Forward Global uses InCyber Forum Europe as the current name.

### What language does the forum run in?

French and English, with simultaneous interpretation on the main stages. The European institutional audience keeps a substantial share of the programme in English.

### Why did the 2027 dates move earlier?

The 2026 edition ran from 31 March to 2 April; the 2027 edition is scheduled for 9 to 11 March. The organiser has not published a reason for the shift, so anyone planning around the old slot should recheck.

## The organiser: Forward Global

Forward Global is an international risk management company that owns and runs the forum, alongside editions in Canada and other regions. The event operates under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic, which shapes the level of institutional participation.

## Editorial take

*The place where European cyber policy, industry and law enforcement actually sit in the same building, and the only French event that reads as continental rather than national.*

## How to register and what it costs

Registration for the 2027 edition is open on the official site. Past editions have offered free access for qualified end-user professionals with advance registration, with paid passes for some specialised conferences and paid partner packages for vendors. Terms differ by attendee category, so the registration page is the authority.

## FAQ · Access and practicalities

### When and where is the 2027 edition?

9 to 11 March 2027 at Lille Grand Palais, Lille, France.

### How large is the event?

The 2026 edition counted 24,558 registered attendees and companies, which makes it the largest cybersecurity gathering in Europe by registration.

### Is Lille accessible from outside France?

Lille sits on the Eurostar and Thalys network, roughly 90 minutes from London, 35 minutes from Brussels and one hour from Paris by high-speed rail, which is a large part of why the forum draws a European audience.
