ISAF International is Turkey's leading annual trade exhibition covering security technology, homeland security, cyber security, smart buildings, fire safety, and occupational health and safety. The 30th edition will be held 7-10 October 2026 at Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) in Yesilkoy, Istanbul. Organised by Marmara Fair Organisation and supervised by TOBB under Turkish law, it targets 350+ booths, 800+ brands from 20+ countries, and 30,000+ visitors, with a particular growth emphasis on international buyers and purchasing delegations.
ISAF International is Turkey's flagship annual trade fair for security, homeland security, cyber security, fire safety, smart buildings, and occupational health and safety. It is organised by Marmara Fair Organisation (Marmara Fuar) and held at Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) in the Yesilkoy district of Istanbul. The 2026 edition will be the 30th, running 7-10 October 2026. ISAF is organised under the supervision of TOBB (the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) in accordance with Turkish Law No. 5174. It is Turkey's most established security trade event and the primary gateway for international security brands entering Turkish and regional markets.
ISAF was first held in 1997, making the 2026 edition its 30th anniversary. Over three decades it has expanded from a predominantly domestic Turkish security industry showcase into the region's most significant annual platform for security technology trade. A key feature of ISAF's evolution has been its internationalisation: from 2007 onwards, the organiser has systematically targeted foreign exhibitors and purchasing delegations. By 2025, 517 brands from 13 countries were exhibiting, and 1,423 international buyers from purchasing delegations across 25 countries attended. The 30th edition targets significant growth on all these metrics.
The 30th edition of ISAF International is planned with explicit growth targets relative to 2025. The organiser has published the following targets: stands to increase from 203 to 350+, brands exhibiting from 517 to 800+, participating countries from 13 to 20+, visitors from 22,408 to 30,000+, and international buyers in purchasing delegations from 1,423 to 3,000+. The 2026 conceptual focus areas are: security with artificial intelligence and smart systems, IT security and information technology, smart buildings and smart living, fire safety and technology, and occupational health and safety. ISAF emphasises the milestone character of the 30th edition as a platform for Turkish and global security industry leaders to reaffirm and extend their presence.
ISAF occupies the first full week of October in Istanbul, arriving just days after International Security Expo in London (29-30 September) and before Milipol in Paris (biennial, November). Its October timing and Istanbul location make it the natural follow-on for buyers and suppliers completing the European autumn security event circuit. Istanbul's geographic and commercial position as a hub between Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa gives ISAF an audience reach that few other security fairs can replicate. Turkey's growing domestic defence and security industry adds a layer of industrial substance that distinguishes ISAF from purely commercial trade shows.
Exhibitors are predominantly Turkish security technology companies -- electronic security, access control, video analytics, fire systems, smart building integrators -- joined by international brands exhibiting directly or through Turkish distribution partners. Foreign exhibitor numbers are rising. Visitors are security integrators and installers, procurement officers from private and public sector, system operators for critical infrastructure, government and law enforcement officials, and international buyers from the 3,000+ purchasing delegation target. Repeat participation by major ISAF exhibitors is a defining feature: the largest Turkish security companies have been present at almost every edition since 1997.
ISAF is a four-day exhibition spread across Halls 2, 4, and 8 of Istanbul Expo Center. The exhibition covers electronic security systems, video surveillance, access control, forensic equipment, radar and communication systems, fire safety equipment, smart building technologies, cyber security products, and occupational health and safety equipment. A conference programme runs alongside the exhibition. An international purchasing delegations programme brings vetted overseas buyers from government, critical infrastructure, and industry. Product demonstrations are available at exhibitor stands.
Core sectors: electronic security (video surveillance, access control, alarms, perimeter protection), homeland security systems, cyber security and IT security, radar and communication technologies, forensic equipment, robotics and automation, fire detection and suppression, fire fighting equipment, smart building systems, building management systems, occupational health and safety, and personal protective equipment.

ISAF is primarily a professional trade fair aimed at industry exhibitors and buyers. Visitor registration is available online at https://isaf.expokayit.com/ziyaretci. Access is generally open to trade professionals; check the official website for any credential requirements.
ISAF is distinct from Turkey's purely military defence fairs (such as IDEF, which focuses on military equipment). ISAF targets the broader security market: electronic security, smart buildings, fire safety, and occupational safety, alongside homeland security. However, given Turkey's growing security technology export sector, ISAF increasingly serves as a platform for Turkish companies to demonstrate capabilities to international markets across MENA, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe.
ISAF is organised under the supervision of TOBB (the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) in accordance with Turkish Law No. 5174, which governs commercial exhibitions in Turkey. This gives the fair formal institutional legitimacy in the Turkish regulatory framework.
Istanbul Expo Center (IFM -- Istanbul Fuar Merkezi) is located in Yesilkoy, on the European side of Istanbul, at the western end of the city. ISAF occupies Halls 2, 4, and 8. The venue is within 5 km of Istanbul Ataturk Airport (now primarily used for cargo and charter) and approximately 40-50 minutes from Istanbul Airport (IST, the main international hub) by taxi or shuttle. It is accessible by metro (Yesilkoy/Florya area, M1 line) and by bus. The venue address is Istanbul Expo Center, Yesilkoy, Istanbul, Turkey. Contact: +90 212 503 32 32 / marmara@marmarafuar.com.tr. Parking is available on-site.
Marmara Fair Organisation (Marmara Fuar) is a Turkey-based trade fair organiser founded to produce ISAF and related events. It operates under TOBB supervision and has managed ISAF across all 30 editions. The organiser handles stand allocation, international buyer programme recruitment, conference programming, and on-site logistics. It operates from Istanbul and maintains an exhibitor and visitor relations team for international participants. Contact email: marmara@marmarafuar.com.tr.
ISAF International's 30th edition marks the coming-of-age of Turkey's security technology export ambitions -- with a target of tripling its international buyer programme and establishing Istanbul as the gateway fair for security suppliers entering MENA, Central Asia, and Eastern European markets.

October is one of the best months to visit Istanbul: temperatures are mild (18-22 degrees Celsius on average), the summer tourist peak has passed, and the city is fully operational. Istanbul's transport infrastructure is comprehensive; the event venue in Yesilkoy is easily accessible from the main hotel districts.
Turkish is the primary language. The official ISAF website has English content, and major international exhibitors and the organiser's international team communicate in English. Translation services for key conference sessions may be available; check with the organiser.
