Organised by the Fédération Hospitalière de France since 1966, this three-day trade exhibition at Paris Porte de Versailles is France's largest annual gathering for healthcare professionals, drawing 35,000 participants, 695 exhibitors and 530 speakers across hospital management, digital health and public health policy.
SantExpo is France's reference trade event for public hospital professionals, held each May at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Now in its 60th edition in 2026, it is organised exclusively by the Fédération Hospitalière de France (FHF), the national body representing French public hospitals. The event combines a large-scale exhibition floor with a dense conference programme under a thematic edition banner. The 2026 edition theme is "Healthcare excellence: a commitment for all generations."
The 2026 programme spans eight major topics: hospital and care autonomy, innovation, AI in healthcare, prevention, human resources in health, women's health, mental health, and ecological transformation. These topics run through the FHF agoras (large conference sessions), expert thematic pathways and the innovation space supported by the FHF innovation fund. A startup innovation zone and a Made in France section complement the main exhibition floor.
The 2026 speaker programme includes FHF President Arnaud Robinet and FHF Director General Zaynab Riet in the opening sessions, alongside 530 speakers total from hospitals, ministries, industry and research institutions.
SantExpo has run annually since 1966, making it one of the oldest professional health trade events in France. The 2026 edition marks the 60th anniversary, held at Porte de Versailles Hall 1 with a programme expanded to address the ecological and generational dimensions of healthcare management.

SantExpo is open to all healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, medical directors and administrative staff. The FHF affiliation gives it particular weight among hospital decision-makers and public sector health executives, but the exhibition floor and conference sessions are accessible to the full spectrum of health sector workers.
SantExpo is the only major French health event organised directly by the FHF, giving it direct policy relevance: announcements from the ministry of health are frequently timed to coincide with the event. Commercial health expos in France tend to focus on specific subsectors; SantExpo is the generalist reference for public hospital administration.
The primary language is French. International exhibitors operate stands in their preferred languages, but the conference programme, FHF agoras and expert pathways are conducted in French.
SantExpo is not designed for: (1) private clinic networks or for-profit healthcare operators with no public sector interface; (2) pharma and device companies seeking direct sales contacts without the healthcare professional context; (3) digital health startups targeting consumer markets; (4) international visitors who are not specifically targeting French hospital procurement; (5) general business professionals without healthcare sector responsibilities.
SantExpo operates in a space few commercial events can occupy: it is simultaneously the trade floor and the policy forum for French public hospitals, which gives its agenda-setting function a reach that extends well beyond its three days at Porte de Versailles.
Visitor registration is free for healthcare professionals via the SantExpo website (santexpo.com). Exhibitor registration and stand space are managed separately through gl-events.com. The free-access model is core to the FHF's mission of making information available across the public health sector.
SantExpo 2026 runs 19–21 May at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Hall 1, 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris.
SantExpo does not operate a systematic replay platform. Some sessions may be available on the FHF's YouTube or social media channels, but on-demand replay is not a core feature of the event.
The FHF agoras are large-format plenary-style sessions focused on the edition's eight thematic pillars. Expert pathways are smaller, topic-specific streams designed for practitioners looking for operational insights.
