bernerit.rocks is a Swiss nonprofit association focused on the Bern-area IT community. It organises Swiss Cloud Native Day as a community service, partnering with the Swiss Cloud Native Alliance (cloudnativealliance.ch) and drawing on volunteer organisers from the regional technology sector.
Swiss Cloud Native Day is community-aligned with CNCF through the Swiss Cloud Native Alliance, which participates in CNCF community programmes. It is not a formal Kubernetes Community Days (KCD) event and does not carry CNCF Tier certification.

Gurten Park sits on Mount Gurten, the 858-metre hilltop above Bern, reached by the Gurtenbahn funicular from the Wabern tram stop (tram lines 9 and 30 from Bern city centre). Gurten Park provides outdoor and indoor spaces with views over the city of Bern and, on clear days, the Bernese Alps including the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau. The journey from Bern Hauptbahnhof to the Gurten summit takes approximately 20-25 minutes by tram and funicular.

Gurten Park has no on-site hotel. Accommodation is in Bern city centre (15-20 minutes from the venue by tram and funicular). Book accommodation early as Bern is a popular September destination.
