The leading Nordic conference and exhibition for eHealth and digital health, held in Gothenburg, where clinical leaders, social-services managers, policymakers and healthtech innovators work through AI, health data, welfare technology and person-centred care across more than 450 sessions.
Vitalis is the leading Nordic conference and exhibition for eHealth and digital health, held annually at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg. Organised by the centre itself, which has run the event for more than two decades, it combines a large conference of more than 450 sessions, including over 70 in English, with a trade exhibition of around 200 exhibitors. The programme is rooted in the Nordic model of public healthcare and welfare, covering AI and ethics, digital infrastructure, health data management, welfare technology and person-centred care, and draws around 7,000 participants and 700 speakers.
Vitalis is where the Nordic public-health system works through its digital transformation. It is built for the people who run and digitise care across the region: clinical leaders, social-services managers, policymakers, researchers and the healthtech vendors and start-ups serving them. The Nordic framing is the point. The programme treats digital health as a question of public welfare and person-centred care rather than a purely commercial market, which gives it a distinct character among European digital health events and makes it the reference gathering for the Nordic eHealth community.
The conference is organised into thematic tracks:
Vitalis runs more than 450 sessions across parallel tracks, including over 70 English-language sessions, alongside a trade exhibition and a digital access pass that gives remote attendees recorded content.
It is held in Sweden but functions as the Nordic eHealth gathering, drawing participants from across the Nordic health and welfare systems and a growing international audience. Its identity is explicitly the Nordic model of digital health.
Vitalis is rooted in the Nordic public-health and welfare approach, with strong representation from social services and person-centred care, not only hospital IT. HIMSS Europe is a roaming pan-European health-IT congress and DMEA is the German digital health trade fair. Vitalis is the regional Nordic reference.
Vitalis is held at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, Svenska Mässan, in central Gothenburg, one of the largest conference and exhibition venues in the Nordic region and the long-standing home of the event.
The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Group is both the venue operator and the organiser of Vitalis, which it has developed over more than twenty years into the leading Nordic arena for digital health, welfare technology and person-centred care.
Vitalis is the reference Nordic eHealth gathering: a Gothenburg conference and exhibition rooted in the Nordic public-health model, where clinical leaders, social-services managers and healthtech innovators work through AI, health data and person-centred care across more than 450 sessions.
